Peter Scheibelhofer (TU, advisor E. Stadlober): Robust Multivariate Fault Detection and Diagnosis of Multi-Way Data

Abstract: We present a generalized methodology for robust multivariate process monitoring of three-way data arrays as they are found in semiconductor production processes. The approach considers the whole recorded data information of a production batch by using multi-way principal component analysis. The use of a robust Hotellings T^2 statistics makes outcomes easy to monitor as it can be summarized into a simple univariate chart. Fault diagnosis is ensured by using a multiblock approach. Possible extensions are the utilization of kernel methods to also consider nonlinear relationships frequently observed among semiconductor processes variables. [hide abstract]
